Thibaut Courtois’ future at Chelsea remains to be uncertain with the numerous European giants competing for his signature, but the Belgian goalkeeper has allegedly forced the Blues to land Roma shot-stopper Alisson as his replacement.
According to El Gol Digital, the 25-year-old is desperate for a move back to La Liga with Real Madrid at the end of the current season.
Real have identified Courtois as one of their primary targets for the upcoming summer transfer window. Considering the Belgian star is free to leave in the summer, the Blues must decide whether to cash-in on the Belgium international this summer if he declines to sign a contract extension to risk letting him go for nothing at the end of the next season.
It’s also being stated that Courtois has held unofficial talks with Paris Saint Germain concerning a move to Ligue 1 giants as he looks to sign for a club who are a Champions League contenders.
If he decides to leave, then Antonio Conte's side will need to replace him, and the Belgian keeper himself has named Roma’s Alisson as his replacement at Stamford Bridge.
The Brazilian has managed to display quality football this season in Serie A and is considered to be a key target for Liverpool.
