We could not choose a better place to sleep the first night of our Forest Friendly Family Tour behind the Czech border. I have used www.wildcamping.tips to find beautiful „lake“ in the Austrian Alps far enough from civilization with high probability to be there alone. It exactly happened. We arrived after 7 hours long ride from Pacov (South Bohemia) in the early afternoon. We met a few people but after 5 pm no one was there and we could fully enjoy the mountain atmosphere and super cold and clean water reservoir called Durlaßboden. The only creatures sometimes accompany us were cows with loud bells. Before we went to our bed in the car (read more about our small van here!) we tried to send out of it hundreds flies. Not successfully. They have traveled with us right to France. The night was comfortably cold. As early as 8 am after great breakfast (a full dozen organic eggs for 1 EUR) we began to continue in our journey southwest to find some people to talk with. Raise awareness of our conservation program is difficult without people around.
