Hi There π
My bestie's niece is getting married this weekend. And my bestie, being the aunty anyone would be blessed to have as part of the planning team messages me and asks me if I can suggest any songs for the Best Men and Bridesmaids to walk down the aisle with. They wanted a fun song, no preference to new or old but something they can incorporate some simple steps to. Needless to say, I jumped at the opportunity and I think I might have spammed her with a list of songs... So this weekend's FourPlay are 4 songs I suggested (won't spam you)....
Love On Top - Beyonce
This song is about a man who can do no wrong. Believe it or not, it is written by the same team that wrote girl empowerment songs like Single Ladies and Run the World for Beyonce.... haha.. This is also the song, Beyonce used for the big reveal. She performed it at the Grammies, and before singing said "tonight I want you to stand up on your feet, I want you to feel the love that's growing inside of me" and at the end of it, she unzipped her jacket and wallah... 5 months pregnant.

Count On Me - Bruno Mars
Bruno Mars has many great songs especially for weddings, but please not Marry Me. Don't be fooled by the title. It really is about feeling frivolous and loving life and the moment and just doing something crazy with no care in the world... OK, maybe that sounds a little bit like a wedding.. haha but no.
Count On Me ... even the title says it all. And it can be taken as the Best Man and Bridesmaid's message for the couple . It's a great song on many levels.

I'm Yours - Jason Mraz
According to Mraz, he couldn't even remember writing the song. It just came from a happy place. It is a song "about finally giving into love and life's possibilities."... So a wedding right? This song spent more than a year on the Billboard Hot 100. It even holds the record for the most weeks spent on the charts. And this is what we wish the couple, many, many, many years... forever together.

All 4 Love - Color Me Badd
This would be my pick for the gang. This is such a fun song and I think the guests would remember it. I will be honest, I found the video cringe-worthy but if you can sit through it, you will be able to get some ideas for the choreography for sure haha. I can already imagine the lot walking down the aisle, doing some do-wop moves. I really hope they pick this song. Will let you know tomorrow...
