One of the oldest medieval towns in the French Riviera, an hour away by bus from Nice. Perhaps a few hours stay is enough to check it's modern galleries and shops and also to have a bite. It's on top of a mountain so a leisurely walk around is fun with lovely things and paintings to browse around!
Perhaps the greatest artist to have ever lived here is Marc Chagall, who died and was buried in its' cemetery.
