Catalonia and the Sword of Truth.

On the most part the responses and feedback I received were good, apart from one individual who I suspect is either a Troll/Shill or someone lost in the darkness of deceit, so that said more light needs to be shed on the Catalan people and the place called Catalonia, and why they will have their freedom from Spain.
Before I get to the point of Why the Catalans are bit special, let me give you a better picture as what this region and peoples have had to endure over the centuries, first up is Francesco Franco the dictator.
This person walking next to Adolf Hitler is Francesco Franco Bahamonde – if you were not aware Franco was a dictator, who came into power in 1938 and from then till 1973 oppressed the peoples of what we call Spain, most notably the Basque and particularly Catalans.
Lluís Companys
Luis Companys was the president of Catalonia and after the Spanish war was exiled to France before being captured by the Secret Nazi police, where he was handed over to Franco who had him executed by firing squad.
Lluis Companys is the only incumbent democratically elected president in European history to have been executed.
The people of Catalonia were oppressed for four decades by the Franco regime, now I’m not using this word Oppression lightly.
Oppression
- prolonged cruel or unjust treatment or exercise of authority.

synonyms: persecution, abuse, maltreatment, ill-treatment, tyranny, despotism, repression, suppression, subjection, subjugation, enslavement, exploitation.
Make no mistake the Catalonians really had a hard time under this despot Franco, its all well documented, but that’s a whole other storey, if we fast forward to the October 1st, 2017 the people of Catalonia held a referendum for independence from Spain and were met with the same oppressive tactics that Franco use to exercise on the Catalans.
Remember these people casting there vote were not committing a crime, yet the government felt this was the best way to deal with people trying to exercise their democratic human right.
As things currently stand Carles Puigdemont the prime minister, as well as a number of his cabinet, are in Belgium and eight members including Jordi Cuixart and Jordi Sànchez are being held in a Spanish prison as political prisoners, now this is an ongoing storey, I will post about as news comes in, because this move to Belgium is taking the fight to the Heart of EU, which is a master chess move by the Catalonian cabinet, but I will get into this at a later date.
In my first post on Catalonia, I explained I lived in Barcelona and this is where I learned about the plight of the Catalans, now I've done my fair bit of travelling over the years, and like anyone with an opened mind you realise that different places have different attitudes, like Southerners are usually different from Northerners, now there are a number of factors that shape the attitude of a group of people within a given area, like environment, employment, religion etc.
Now in the case of Spain which I have extensively travelled, I noticed a very distinct character amongst the Catalans that is very different to other regions of Spain, It is like the Catalans have a secret or knowledge of a secret, a quality I couldn’t quite put my finger on, you see my time spent in Barcelona was as a visitor and looking back in hindsight I believe the universe sent me there to learn something through a life experience, but for years I never could understand what this was, and then a couple years ago after seeing something on the news about catalonia I realised these people are going to get there freedom.
The question I asked myself was why do the Catalans deserve freedom from Spain.
I already knew from my time spent with them that they were indeed special, so after seeing the nonsense the Spanish government was keeping up with, on the 1st of October, I decided to try an remember all I had forgotten about Barcelona and Catalonia, and one of the things that came to me was that the Catalans are without doubt some of the most spiritually charged people in Europe.
Now like anywhere on our planet things are far from perfect in Catalonia, but there is no denying they have a unique collective consciousness that exists amongst them, that I would describe as impenetrable, its as though they all have a secret that they keep amongst themselves, the type of secret that would be impossible to explain or reveal, like it is heredity, its imbedded in there genetical code, the strange thing is all the tribes on the Iberian peninsula all look some what similar, however, these fundamental differences are on the inside of these people.
Whilst researching and thinking about Catalonia, I kept asking my self what is the secret that makes them special, trust me these people are special and they have a secret, then it hit me.
The Cathars
If you follow history, it tells us that the Catholic church had the Cathars wiped out in the 12th century, however truth tells us a different storey, first if you were not aware of the Cathars, let me give you a brief overview –
The Cathar’s were a Gnostic Christian group, Gnosis is a mystical or esoteric knowledge based on direct participation with the divine and Gnosticism is connected with ancient Hermetic teachings, now I won't get into the spiritualism or metaphysics of the Cathars and Gnosticism in this post because it is a huge subject to cover.
However I will say if you are interested in this subject matter a good starting point would be the Nag Hammadi or the dead sea scrolls, it is fascinating because when you research Christainty you realise that when the Vatican Catholic church was consolidating their power across Europe, they made a point of eliminating any competitors in the Business of Spiritual enlightenment, they also went to great lengths to remove any records of Gnostic type teachings.
In 1209 Pope Innocent III, initiated a military campaign to eliminate the Cathars from Southern France, calling the Cathar heretics, this was the start of the medieval inquisitions, now any student of history or better still the truth that looks into what happened to the Cathars will quickly realise that the Catholic church was nothing more than a criminal organisation that exercised horrific violence against anyone who refused to subscribe to their brand of Christianity.
History teaches us that the Cathars were completely wiped out of existence and granted it appears that the Cathars as an official Christan organisation were indeed wiped out, however, the real Truth is the Cathars are in fact the Catalonians, which is quite incredible, you see when the Catholic church went after Cathars murdering them by the thousands and confiscating their lands, large numbers took sanctuary into what is called Catalonia.
Catalan or Catalonia in modern English, actually translates into Cathar Land, Cathar Lands or Land of the Cathar - land of the Cata - Cata land – do not be confused with the silent “ h”

What we are seeing now in Catalonia are the descendants of the Cathar facing off against a corrupt Spanish Government and the corrupt European Union.
