My personal experience- yesterday I attended a meeting that I go to almost daily. We meet in a storefront in a dilapidated mall. It's about 20 acres of mall space that I suspect will eventually sell for gazillions but right now there are a few businesses left in the mall area.
Our group meets next door to a bar, down the street from a post office and a check cashing place, across from a Wendy's, on the other side of a barber shop. We meet at 7am, noon and 530 pm daily and we have other meetings throughout. We are a private social club of sorts.
Yesterday we were told that "people" have been taking pictures of us outside the building - sometimes we sit out front and some of us smoke cigarettes out there, or just chat before we go in to do our business...so now - we have to wear a mask from our car to the building entrance and then we can remove our masks once we are inside.
Our "governor" has "mandated" that we wear masks. This has been the case since July? I think.
We don't need cops - we have plenty of self-appointed busy-bodies meddling in our business, don't we?
