Hive account@thejohalfiles, regarding private police please check out this excellent video by Man Against the State. He lays out the case for a Voluntaryist society very nicely.

Adam’s plan to assume centralized authority is not only implausible (do organized crime syndicates allow their vocal opponents to assume positions of authority within the syndicate!?) it sadly also violates libertarian principle in the name of “pragmatism” (it would necessarily violate individual self-ownership and property in the name of “the greater good”) and thus isn’t really a voluntaryist approach.
