The first highlight was Scott Horton giving an awesome speech, on CSPAN, covering some of the material of his new book "Fools Errand", of which I got a signed copy. Scotts antiwar passion is excitedly overflowing, and exactly the kind of attitude we need.
I finally got to meet Joshua Smith and Alex Merced in person. Josh really showed his grit, determination and passion by showing up to PA from WA despite several last minute hurdles. His ability to connect with and warm up to damn near anybody and everybody was impressive. I saw him turn several people on the fence into believers. Alex was all class as well. Joe Hauptmann had an impressive vice chair debate performance. We nominated some truly great candidates and officers like Jennifer Moore, Dale Kerns for U.S. Senate, Ken Krawchuk PA Governor 2018, and Kathleen Smith for Lieutenant Governor.
I was elected delegate, our delegation was filled up for I think the first time ever, and thanks to Adam Kokesh giving me some of his speech time, did my first ever speech for a political event which got a great response and that just felt truly great as I was a bit nervous and had 2 days notice to put something together.
My local county chair, Caroline Brown who has done a fantastic job growing our local affiliate and was heavily involved in the background of this event and its organization was recognized like she deserved.
And on top of that its always good just to see my liberty brothers like Luke Ensor, Grant Meckley, Preston Smith, Konstantin Divinsky, Jeff Douglas, Josiah Strickland and many others.
I've attended our state party meetings, but the energy at this event was just outstanding, No doubt PA is still one of the strongest vanguards of liberty, as it was one of the birthplaces of revolution.
I love this movement!
