Hi folks, Alex from Munich/Germany is tuning in to the steemit movement.
I really don’t know what steemit is holding back for us, but for some unexplainable reason I have a really promising feeling about this. I decided to share my – still ongoing – way to personal freedom and independence with you guys. May it be helpful for all of you who share the same view on how a life should be lived.
Who am I?
I’m a guy, aged 30, in the lawyer’s profession. I’m into contact sports (kickboxing and UFC (gogogo “DC”)), trips into nature, traveling, gaming and also – for the sake of sharing at least one vice at this point in time: playing poker.

“Personal freedom and independence” – What do I mean by that?
You know … working all day long, 60 hours a week, barely having the energy left to do sports, barely having the time left to meet friends, barely having the nerve left to read a good book, barely having the money to travel the world – that is not the way I wanna spent my time when I’m young and healthy.
Therefore, I decided to follow another path, the path of personal freedom which essentially involves not being enslaved by duties set up by other people. This isn’t about getting rich for the sake of being rich. This is about getting rid of all the financial boundaries of everyday life for the sake of living the life the way I want to, every day and every moment.
And who wouldn’t want more time and money for things like this ...
... or that ....
Which way did I chose?
One and a half years ago, I started digging into the stock market. This was accompanied later on by investments in p2p lending, and now, most recently, the cryptoBOOM (shout out to the boomer champaignCrypto – separating the pits from the poodles). Real estate is also scheduled for the nearer future. I will share more details for each of my experiences in the specific investments in following posts. I also will share the mistakes I did and the lessons I learned. May it prevent you from doing the same and may it inspire us all to share our knowledge with each other.
Why Steemit?
Good question, next question. A good friend of mine told me about it (shout out to my bro Uffz @ Steemit). At first, I had no idea what this is about (probably still don’t have it, yet). Nonetheless – I thought why not giving it a shot and share my thoughts and believes with you and hopefully meet interesting people and get to know their stories, too.
Let’s see what steemit brings, let’s roll the dice guys!
