Putting a raised floor in the minivan
I finally got the reconditioned transmission in the car but it didnt fix the issue of it having no power. Right now Im at a chysler specialist who I hope can fix the problem.
Anyways, a few days ago, I got the wood needed to make a floor. I had already prepared the beams it would sit on, so it only took an hour to do.

The wood cost 25 usd in total, but I still need one more piece to complete it.

I fixed in the 3 sections of which the floor boards would go on and started to lay the planks.
I didnt need to worry yet about getting them perfect because I will he addong more later, but just so I could clear up some space and save me constantly moving things around to create space, it needed to be done now!

I have managed to fit 2 guitars and a masssage bench and other random bits and bobs under the floor which gives me alot more room.

This is the nightime arrangement for sleeping

I have enough room to sleep but its not perfect yet. Since this photo was taken, I have moved the wooden unit to another corner which makes more sense and I also will be doing more work to make a surface and storage in this section.

This post is spread out over time as usual
because I didnt get round to publishing it! I have since gave it a sand and was oiling it.

I had half liter of cheap olive and was going to sacrifice a sock to use as a paint brush, but decided to use my hand instead.

I had to do it in sections because I still had things in the van.

And yeh, thats a window for the car passenger side, Im not sure how but the window fell of the runners and I lost the parts which I need to go find and buy soon!
Definitely better than how it was!
