Introduction.
I was living in Germany for a whole year in one stretch. I had a "city garden" and planned to renovate it into a really nice place and then to rent it out on Air-bnb. I found out after a month that when it rained, the floor got soaking wet and then found that there were 2 holes in the roof that had caused all the outside walls to rot away and some of the internal walls. It looked fine though when I first got it until I started to renovate and after taking all the old things out and doing a lot of preparation work, I realized that only the roof was good and everything else must be rebuilt. It was like "opening up a can of worm's". I guessed it would need around 5000 euro of funds for new building material and knew it would be very hard to save that amount of money up in Germany. I started to take everything out, and I just found pictures of this chaotic project!
When I moved in the place was looking great and everything was there. I think the old owners knew it was fucked
