the funniest thing i've seen all week are these "i believe in the free press" memes coming from the "free speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences" crowd. like, nah, fuck outta here with that fake ass support of the first amendment. you either support free speech or you don't. "the press" isn't an entity, it's a tool. the first amendment is literally referring to the machine called "the printing press", not some body of elitists that have dubbed themselves the arbiters of truth. free the press, fuck corporate media.
