Seven months of building alone. Hundreds of hours without a team, funding, or anyone to share the load. Each week, this platform becomes more complete.
Today, I want to share where the HivePostify Marketplace stands, what has changed, and what is coming next. This community deserves a real update, not a polished announcement.
What Actually Changed: New Categories Are Live
When the HivePostify Marketplace launched, it started with the common categories every freelancing platform offers: web development, graphic design, content writing, and video editing. This was the foundation.
That foundation is now broader.
New service categories have been added. Sellers can now list gigs in areas that weren't available before, including fields relevant to the Pakistani digital workforce and the rising demand for Web3-native services. This is not the final expansion more specific categories will be added regularly as we learn what sellers need and what buyers are looking for.
The goal is to have 700+ active categories. We are moving toward this goal steadily, not all at once, because every added category should have real sellers behind it, not just empty placeholders.
The UI Has Been Improved, And It Is Noticeable
The marketplace interface has been refined in this update. Browsing through categories is clearer. Seller profiles and gig pages are better organized. Navigation feels more natural than before.
These are not dramatic redesigns. They are careful, incremental improvements that make a platform enjoyable to use. The goal is simple: when someone visits the marketplace for the first time, the experience should feel trustworthy and easy to navigate, not confusing.
More UI improvements are on the way. Bugs are being fixed as they are discovered. The interface will continue to improve with each update.
The Honest Part: Why There Are No Buyers Yet
I want to address something directly, which most platform updates would avoid.
The marketplace has sellers, gigs, working order management, payment in HIVE and AHPT, local withdrawal for Pakistani users, and a complete seller profile system.
What it lacks right now is a large buyer base. This is because we have not yet run targeted marketplace promotions.
So far, most of HivePostify's growth efforts have focused on bringing in new Hive users from Pakistan running Facebook ads, creating accounts, and building the community. Marketplace-specific promotion, which gets HivePostify in front of people actively looking to hire freelancers, has not started yet.
That is about to change.
We are planning dedicated promotion targeting buyers, not just creators. The goal is to attract real clients to the marketplace so that sellers with listed gigs can start receiving actual orders. As buyer traffic increases, seller earnings will grow, and the marketplace will become a true two-sided economy built on Hive.
This is not a promise for six months from now; it is our next active step.
Why This Matters Beyond HivePostify
Every completed order on the HivePostify Marketplace brings external capital into the Hive ecosystem. A buyer pays in AHPT or HIVE. The seller earns, holds, and often powers up. The blockchain gains activity that did not originate within it.
Pakistan's freelancing economy is expected to reach five billion dollars by 2026. There is no other Web3 freelancing platform in Pakistan built on a public blockchain. HivePostify is the first.
Every added category opens another door. Every seller who lists a gig creates another incentive for buyers to come. Every completed order proves that this ecosystem can sustain real economic activity, not just content rewards.
What Is Coming Next
More Categories specific categories will be added based on what Pakistani freelancers actually offer and what international buyers look for. The expansion is ongoing.
Marketplace Promotion buyer-focused advertising and outreach are starting. The marketplace is built. Now it needs to be discovered.
UI Continued Improvement bugs are being fixed, pages are being optimized, and the overall experience is becoming smoother with every update.
Witness Launch HivePostify will soon launch its own Hive witness node. A detailed technical post will come before the launch.
Expanded Withdrawal Options additional local payment methods beyond EasyPaisa, JazzCash, and Binance Pay are being explored so more users across Pakistan can access their earnings easily.
For Sellers: Your Gig Is Already Ahead of the Curve
If you have already listed a gig on HivePostify, you are positioned before the buyer promotion begins. When traffic arrives, established sellers with complete profiles and clear gig descriptions will be the first found.
If you haven't listed yet, now is the time before the marketplace gets crowded.
