Evite Party Ideas
Thank you to for organising the challenge!
I'm starting the timer now.
A Special Occasion
I'd been told, "BE THERE, it's a special occasion!"
My headteacher was always annoyed when I didn't turn up for the so-called treats she arranged for the staff. But they just weren't my scene. I'd worked with them all day, that was enough for me.
I'd promise myself to go, but when the time came, I could never face it.
Don't get me wrong, I've always loved 'office parties' (wink) as long as there were men going. In teaching, though, women predominate so you have little chance of a flirt unless you're gay.
Anyway, why was it such a special occasion? At least she could have told me that.
Oh hell, of course, it's my birthday very soon! That's why she wants me there. I'm gonna be the guest of honour. Aaagh, help!!!
