There is a lot more to the world then we can possible know and it's ancient mysteries are still waiting to be solved. The collective wisdom of humanity is so vast that if any one person possessed it, they would be elevated by that power above all others. Some argue that the point of wealth and even life itself is to pursue that knowledge and become God like in a process they call apotheosis.
Throughout the ages civilization has many ages, some we call dark and others we call golden, but what they have in common is that they are separated by brief periods of cataclysm. The times that transition one stage of our development into the next can come on suddenly and cause great disruption around the globe.
Those who already hoarded resources prior to a cataclysm are the only ones with the ability to protect their wealth and use what they have to control others who may be desperate to survive. The one thing above all others these powerful have is the knowledge of how they got their position and what they are doing to maintain it.
Keeping back food so that people have to come to them to be fed hand to mouth is just the beginning. Hiding how financing, medicine, philosophy, and humanity's' past mistakes keeps common folk from challenging them on any real level. The methods and technology that give them the ability to produce such wealth is the true origin of our class systems throughout history.
Some say we are a species with amnesia due to the cataclysmic events caused by environmental changes, meteoric impacts and other natural disasters, but would say that instead we are a species that is constantly being lied to.
The true force that directs the destiny is man made and war, isolation, famine, and all the other forms of democide and that needs to be our focus. It's true that nature has provided the catalyst for change many times during our planets life but that is not what makes an era.
Ancient history was most often recorded by the sycophants of monsters and it reflects the slow drip of wisdom I am speaking of. The course of human events is carved out by the infamous among us that manage to hoard power to such a legendary degree that their names became part of our modern culture.
Those who reach that height have only one place to go and that is where apotheosis comes into play. When you have domain over every person and the entire world that is known to you the only thing that truly is out of your reach is the power of a god.
I can't personally imagine myself in such a position, but, when I step into the shoes the of those have been at the pinnacle of their time's society, I do partly see the frustration they must feel, in a small way that is. To be so close to total control but to be denied the ability to stop the natural disasters and other climatic changes the Earth inevitably must endure must torture the mind of a megalomaniac.
Many leaders have created facades of godhood for this very reason and have often suffered the consequences of their hubris. The problem they face by living by this propaganda is always that regardless of the opinion, they are not actually deities at all. In fact they are merely men who hoard resources in any and all the forms wealth manifests.
Perhaps that is why there is such mystery surrounding our past, every time a cataclysmic event occurs it proves they really do not have the powers they say they posses, that in truth the God-Emperor does bleed.
If that seems dramatic, well it could be, but it is still as true in this age as it was when ancient Rome was at is apex. No matter where you live, whether it be a village or the nation in which you reside, there is almost certainly someone who wants dominance over the territory. The larger you focus your scope however, the more you see the types of people who are more than willing to declare themselves some form of god-king with the power to fix all of the common folk's problems.
I won't ask you to think of just one power addict in your life, I ask you to think of how many that come to mind when you count them up. You may find that the number is staggering and it would take too much time to tally of them up. I take the amount of would be gods to be a sign of things to come and think it's important to pay attention to
I can't believe how many of our politicians, business owners and other oligarchs are openly going around promising people that they have the power to heal the world, stop any and all natural disaster, feed everyone and of course, keep us safe by holding a sword to our backs perpetually, in the figurative sense.
What could be worse though is the tendency of those who still believe a mortal man can control asteroids, is still as strong as always and has been manifesting in accusations of our leaders bring such disasters. Perhaps we will master the forces that created us and an age of peace and prosperity will result, I'm not that optimistic though.
When I look back at where we came from I see strong signals that what we are being told about the past is misinformation at best, outright lies could be the best way to describe it all though. I see the possibility that the information we had in our school textbooks were just poorly made theories that turned out to be wrong, maybe they did just guess wrong. I also see the pattern of those who dispense in knowledge acting desperate in out modern age though.
That is the key to the times we live in, we have access to the ideas and practices that have been hidden more so than any other era I can think of. We no longer have to join clandestine groups and secret organizations to gain this knowledge because of how many forms it can now take. The fight to live free and independent of the power addicts is far from over though.

We need to bold if we are to know as much as we can of the important ideas out there and I have no problem using the tools available but I understand if most do not. They do their best to project this exact façade of power I've been speaking of and this document has been redacted so much that it acts as more of a tease than a source for answers. I offer it as proof that this slow drip of knowledge is the source of their wealth and power though and think it says a lot about the fight for the truth.
There are lot of people who study this field and want to not only expose these ancient mysteries for what they are, but also want as many people to be in on these ideas as possible. We work in many different ways to speak to everyone that we can reach because of how important it is to actually understand the way of the world and why things are the way they appear to be.
The way I choose to express what I know in this area is to write a novel and I call it The Coming Cataclysm. The biggest influence on my path down the road of wisdom were all of the great writers who started the process of my imagination and then critical thinking skills. I think that sparking curiosity through fiction is a great way to help some one open their eyes to knew ways of thinking and can get a lot of people to do their own research and also put some more pressure on those who are keeping these facts from us.
