The process started. It was a cold winter like it wasn’t in a very long time. The head of the family had received the guests with most politeness by the time his wife got into the Main Hall. Are they the ones we needed?, she grinned. Just the way you like them, honey. She wondered about where the ingredients where, but her husband pointed at the maid, who immediately bowed making her know everything was ready.
Once the preparations were ready, both husband and wife were before the guests in the kitchen. My dear, you promised they were just the way I like them, but it seems you either lied to me or plainly ignore my tastes, she looked disappointed. Oh, honey. Isn’t their blood good enough? Jesus! Not to worry. Have you not heard? Walnuts are great at masking even the lowest quality alcohol… or in this case, blood. She smiled. She knew she could not be mad at him. These guests’ blood was going to be good enough…
