Blue's, crystal clear blues of the Whitsunday islands. That's were I would rather be today. Siting on a cruise ship in this island chain in the Great Barrier Reef of the coast of Queensland, Australia. I had the blues yesterday and was wishing I could just get away from it all. You know how sometimes, for no good reason, life just wears you down and you just fantasise about were you would rather be, well that was me yesterday and that was were I wanted to be.
I have never been to the Whitsunday's, but its always been on my wish list. It just sounds so idealic. Crystal blue sky's, especially at this time of the year (winter in Australia) and crystal blue water. On a boat, exploring the islands, not a care in the world and no plans - just freedom. Totally leaving the world behind to just relax in this magical place. Healing the blues with all the blue you could wish for.
That would be nice. But the real world has other ideas. Gotta do the daily grind. No rest for the wicked. How many other cliches could I throw in here... Stuck on the treadmill, hamster in a wheel, rat in a maze, nose to the grindstone. You get the picture. You see, that is why I am here - on Steem and in Crypto in general - so I can see more of the natural blues that this world has to offer, and less emotional blues that normal life dish up.
