"Throw in the Towel" is probably something a number of people are thinking of doing in the current crypto market. It has been ugly, and the turnaround that we are all hoping for has not really come yet. I am optimistic that this is pretty much it, the downward spiral is more or less over. I hope anyway, no one really knows. Credible writers have predicted the next boom, and other writers a further slide before the recovery.

I guess that at the moment, a lot of people are reassessing their time and money investment here in STEEM land and also in the crypto space in general. I have noticed that I have been less inclined to post, but I don't think its because of the price. I've been kept busy with real life issues and a lack of time, meaning down time is spent doing other things. Steeming has taken a back seat for a bit, but I should be all good, back in action once again.
The market will go up, or down. Whether you throw in the towel depends on why you are here. If you are in crypto to make a quick buck, get rich quick kinda mentality, then its probably time to go. I don't see quick wealth any time soon. The rewards will go to the patient. Those that keep working through this downturn, keep building their Steem Power. Keep building their investments in other blockchain projects and hold for the long term. The way I see it, this is just the start of a new cycle, and crypto "use cases" and "uptake" will be key. The coins that survive will have real world uses, and usefulness. Many will disappear. Fortune may favour the brave - but it is more likely to favour the patient in this space.
Now would be the worst time to throw in the towel in my humble opinion - a turnaround is not far away.
