"Where have all the trollies gone?" asked the customer.
"Vanished," replied Tom. "They've gone for a service. They should be back later."
Tom is a nice guy. He works in a supermarket. However, on this occasion, he has told a little white lie. The trollies have not gone to be serviced.
Instead, it is the day that they celebrate Trolley Day.
"Happy trolley day," said Tim the trolley.
"Hello, Tim," said Tommy. "Happy trolley day."
Tommy is also a trolley.
"What happened to you, Tim?"
"Some drunk people. They decided to test out the wheels. I've been all over this car park."
"Wallys with a trolley?" asked Tommy.
"I have another name for them," said Tim.
"Let's keep this on a childrens' story level," said Tommy.
"Anyway, it could be worse. Toby ended up in that pond over there. He has a permanent dent on his side."
"Oh no."
"He's ok now. He'll be joining us for the Trolley Day celebrations."
A few minutes later, Tim and Tommy are joined by more trollies. It is becoming a mass gathering. Some of the trollies are carrying food and drink. Tina trolley has remembered the music system. It is going to be a great night
"We should do this every year," said Tim.
"That would be nice. It was a bit silly to choose 29th February as the date for our celebration."
