The smoke is offered to all
Who seek this elusive creature out
Chasing the Dragon
Is rare nectar for the mind..... By
Benevolent Dragon
I heard the fabled Dragon song
it rose above the waves for me
I jumped aboard my sturdy ship
and sailed across the raging sea
Krakken fiercely destroyed my craft
tis a wonder that I survived
tossed about several days at sea
the ocean spat me out alive.
Her voice beckoned me now "COME FORTH!"
I journeyed through the rocky caves
Every bit of strength exhausted
behind me crashed the Ocean waves
My defenses left behind me
approaching with no sword or shield
her radiance shone before me
to her beauty, I humbly yield
She appeared to me a woman
Her lovely skin in golden tones
she warmed me in the evening light
in magic lair of chiseled stones
This old sailor's mind now wonders
was it a dream in dark of night
was it real that fateful meeting
When the Queen dragon held me tight?
Dragon, oh sweet Dragon will you sing your song for me? Will you send it 'cross the ocean? Will you sing your song for me? Will you send it o'er waters and to my ears on lonely shore? Will you send it to my sail ship and with magic, speed the oars? Will you turn into a woman and hold me once again so tight OR will you flame me with breath a burning and sear me in your sight?
