Garreth shook his head. His emotions were in a turmoil. It was painful to remember the events of that fateful day. The sounds. The fear. Blood. It all had a smell and as he tried to remember more details it once again filled his nostrils
The policeman across the table looked impatient. And suspicious. Garreth wanted to scream, 'I did not do it. I nearly got killed myself!' But he could find no words. His mind was filled with images of the dead and dying on the train. He remembered every detail but he could not picture the gunman's face. The fear was too great. It consumed him. Overwhelmed him. If he could only describe the face of the man who took his gun out of his hand and shot all those people.
He remembered glittering eyes and the arm stretched out in front of him holding Garreth's gun. No face. Nothing. He cannot even give an opinion on how tall the guy is. Just the eyes. And the arm. And the smell. And the screams.
The arm!!
He saw it again. On the wrist was an armband.
Yes! They were going to catch this guy!
