This is the time of year when I usually make my semi-annual visit to my sister's house in Montana. My customary route takes me past the National Bison Range at Moiese, Montana, and sometimes I take the time to travel around Prairie Drive and see if there are any bison in view.
This year I didn't make plans to go in April, because my husband was scheduled for rotator cuff surgery on his right (dominant) shoulder on April 2, and I figured I'd be busy helping him out and driving him to physical therapy. Well, he got sick late in March and was not well enough for surgery on April 2, so it has been rescheduled for May 9. I still didn't get to go to Montana, though, because then I got sick, too, and wasted two weeks coughing and blowing. Then my new health care provider decided my estrogen level was dangerously high, changed my bio-identical hormone cream ingredients, and threw me back into peri-menopause, basically. I am lucky if I get two hours of sleep uninterrupted by a night sweat. I am too tired and sleep-deprived to drive all the way to my sister's house, and I am very peeved.
The tiny sliver of silver lining inside this cloud of disappointment is that I have time to read lots of Steemit posts while I sit around being tired and groggy. But I need to find a balance between reading lots of posts and getting around to posting something myself. Seems like it is one or the other.
