Mango.
Mango. Womango. Childgo. Humango. Go go gadget! The 80s. Care Bears, Rainbow Brite. Commercialism. Products. Products of our environment. I remember when I first discovered the magazine Adbusters. I was 19, I think. It spoke to me. I haven't always been soo so anti-commercialism, but I was getting there then. I've always been a thrift store shopper. I never felt poor. We weren't poor. But we were bargain hunters, and there was no shame in that. I love being a bargain hunter. I hate that name brands cost so much more just because of the brand. There's a brand called Obey. I think it's a skater brand. And I just think it's so funny, that people walk around in these caps that say "OBEY" and I'm like, you are! You are doing exactly what they want. Yet it's an anti-establishment brand? Maybe I'm imagining that part. La la la la la. Clinique. Eddie Bauer. Money stealers. Foolish shopping. Capitalism!
