"A spaceman came travelling [...]"
This is the beginning of a legendary song from Chris de Burgh and it is about a man in the space.
I love the space, the endless universe with all its stars and planets. Each planet has its own history and today I like to write about a part of our lovely earth. The moon. The moon is part of the earth, not only because it is circling around our planet. The science says that a galactic impact from a thing, big as the mars, led to a refusion of material. As a result of gravity from the earth, this material built the moon after a while.
When the moon circles around us, it can happen that it is behind the earth and the earth is between moon and sun. This is called lunar eclipse and happened today. We could see that fantastic picture in the sky in the morning in Germany.
I took a photo of it and enjoyed this amazing moment. The next lunar eclipse is in 2028.
