My nephew is two but he already has a lot of books. Instead of storing them on a table, I designed and made him a bookcase.
Here's how it went down.

I designed it in Onshape.

Some pine from Home Depot.

I cut it to size.

I routed a rebate for the back panel.

You see?

I realised I had done it all wrong so had to glue some wood into some places.

I 'Kreg'ed some holes into it.

Good.

I left the bad things to dry.

I took out my no.5 jack plane.

Here it is. The blade is retracted so it's fine sitting like this.

I trimmed the repairs.

Assembly time.

Yes.

Good.

This strip makes it look nice.

This needed... correcting.

So I used this bastard.

I used it here too.

Good.

Then I filled the God damn Kreg holes.

I sanded everything with this.

I painted it.

I cut the back in two because I didn't make it tall enough.
Thirty Days Later (because the paint had to cure)

I screwed the top bit.

This needed... correcting. Again.

So I used this bastard.

I screwed it in the bottom.

Then I used my genius...

To do this.

And it was done.

I took one more terrible photo then went to bed.
