Stone Clams
This was found many years
ago, perhaps in the 1940's
or earlier by my Grandpa.
Each link has some cool
rockhound information.
Starting to see some
red color here and there.
Some of the fossil
shells look blueish.
This is a shell I
found on the beach here
in Alaska. Thought I'd set
it on this ancient stone.
Not quite the
same but similar.
Five in one.
Silver dollar for size, it's
1 ½'' inches in diameter.

color, it is from my moms
house around 1970 or so.
