This is winter mornings @ The Sandbag House. Felines, Gandalf and Princess Pearli make a study in monochrome, stopping me from making the bed.
The red one, Rambo,, languishes at or on my feet as I get dressed. Smothering him with my dressing gown eventually gets him moving.
In addition to koeksisters, my Friday list was long: sourdough rolls, leek and cauliflower soup, chicken liver paté and hummus.
We ate the last of the sourdough loaf I made on Wednesday, toasted and with avocado. Delicious.
After a long day and a sneaky after sunset sundowner, it was dinner with the president.
Let's just say, it's been a harrowing week. Especially for folk like 
I know I owe some folk replies: thank you for checking in on me. I appreciate it more than you know. I will reply properly this afternoon and after the market.
I am grateful for some sense of normality.
