I came across what I believe is a bullshit article to create fear, uncertainty and doubt in the minds of the free. Enjoy.
Excerpts from the article including my commentary start here.
The article said:
"This week on the bitcoin Reddit forum r/btc, a person who attempted to get a mortgage from the U.S. based financial firm, PNC Bank, was denied because he sold cryptocurrencies in the past."
The so called person who was affected said:
"I sold some coin in December, and I have jumped through tons of hoops, unrelated to bitcoin, while getting a traditional mortgage with PNC — They didn’t mention bitcoin as a concern at all during the entire process.”
Further: “Finally, after I make all the concessions they want, answer all of their questions, they admit they were throwing up these walls because some of the source of funds for the down-payment is bitcoin.”
My commentary:
Wait, hold on so, first, you say "they didn't mention bitcoin as a concern at all during the entire process." Then you say they admitted "throwing up these walls because some of the source of funds for the down-payment is bitcoin"? Yea, OK, that is called contradicting yourself.
What do you, the steemit community think? Is this a bullshit article planted in the reddit community to stoke fear, uncertainty and doubt in the hearts of the free? Let us know down in the comments.
Til next time, peace out brethren.
