Hello all, It's been just over a month now that I have been working as a full time steemit! This has been one of the most exciting and rewarding ventures I have ever had the privilege of working with. Today I am happy to talk about how I found steemit, got involved, bettered myself and how steemit has changed my life!
My journey with crypto currency started about three years ago when I found virtapay.com hunting for a way earn money after being retrenched. This is interesting because, although Virtapay eventually became Virtacoin, it was not originally a crypto currency. Virtapay launched around the same time as bitcoin but had a different system, a stupid credit card system and there own credit based currency called VP. Anyway eventually they got with the program and created there own coin, it was actually a scam in the end! However I am grateful because this is where my journey began with crypto and how I ended up were I am today earning a living on steemit. It's probably worth mentioning I managed to survive the whole GAW miners, Hashlet trend, anyone else have any Hashet's? Now that I think about it, GAW Miners had Paytalk.com with a up-vote system very much like steemit, interesting.....
Since then I have been making money online and doing part time jobs here and there. Currently BEE in my country prevents me from being employed because I am a white male, It's the law in South Africa believe it or not. I currently have qualifications as a Motorcycle Technician and in web design but cant get work. No worries I have steemit now :-)
Just over a month ago I was struggling with bitcoin affiliate programs, mining and HYIP just to survive. On the day I discovered steemit while I was visiting coinmarketcap.com. I noticed steem at the time, it was third on the list, so I investigated and the rest was history.
Very quickly after my firsts few post I got hooked, steemit became my new home. Then I made some cash for the first time and the effort really kicked in. Over the next week I spent most of my time learning, posting and experimenting with steemit and made more cash. By the second week I have stopped putting effort in the mind numbing repetitive tasks I had previously been doing and focused more on steemit.
From that point this is all I have been doing, I now eat, breath and sleep steemit! I cant help it!
I would like to say special thanks to ,
for all your support and a big fat thank you to the steemit community for reading and support my posts, I could never had done it without all of you.
