I don't make it to the movies that often for many reasons.
The biggest being that we purchased a 4K projector this year, along with it my husband built a 105" screen complete with black velvet border and has outfitted the living room with surround sound and blackout curtains.
However, sometimes an outing at the movies can't be beat. Popcorn, soda, candy and watching something on the BIG screen, can be the best escape!
But it can get pricy. Our tickets here in LA average $15 per person. So, how do you chose what movie to see?
Here's my recs for the best movies this September to see in the theatre and their release dates.
Kingsman 2 (Sept. 22nd)
High-action, bullets flying, ass-kicking, cars crashing, visually beautiful scenes. It's everything we want in a movie-theatre pick.
IT (Out now)
The remake looks equally as fun and as frightening as the first. Nothing like scares on the big screen. I also prefer a horror film like this in theatre, safety in numbers? Lol
American Made (Sept. 29th)
Tom Cruise in a normal high-octane, exciting Tom Cruise movie. But this one is based on a true story and is receiving great critic reviews. I predict it will be worth the money to see it in theatre.
Stronger (Sept. 22nd)
Based on a real-life Boston bombing survivor, this one will pull at the heart strings as we see his true life story of loss and triumph.
Have fun!
