Crazy Cat Dancing is the latest fitness craze that will take over the world!
Crazy Cat Dancing is the brainchild of Hazel aged 6 and Poppy aged 4. They were just watching a cat video and decided to copy exactly what the animals were doing.
In doing so they created a new fitness craze - Crazy Cat Dancing. They acted out what they saw the cats doing and it turned into a fun dancing exercise.
Their mother Hope Huggs, thought it was an ingenious idea and asked their permission to tell the whole world to know about it.
You might have already seen people copying what babies do on video sites, but my daughters have taken to a new level…
Why copy humans, when you can copy animals?
There are a lot more random and more unexpected moves and you don’t necessarily know what is coming next, particularly if you choose different videos, although you might like one video and stick to it every day, just for the routine to perfect a crazy cat dance routine. There are no hard and fast rules.
There are hundreds of cat clips on online, why not just pick one and copy the moves of the cat and how much your mood improves, with giggling and a bit of fitness thrown in too.
How much effort you put into copying the moves is up to you, but exaggerating the moves will give you a more of a workout, and maybe miaowing adds to the experience. That idea just popped in my head. You roar in yoga, why not miaow in Crazy Cat Dancing?
It is good to do on your own, with friends, there could even be Crazy Cat Dancing classes, or videos shown on big screens on piers and promenades to get people having fun together and getting fit.
Truly, laughing regularly and getting your body moving has got to be two of the best things that you can do for yourself, whether it is by yourself or with friends, or complete strangers.
You don’t have to stick to just cats either. There must be loads of animal antic videos online to copy. You’d never run out of sources of inspiration.
Finding something fun to do to get fit is half the battle, so this new crazy cat dancing idea really has the potential for worldwide adoption.
But don't ever forget, it was Hazel and Poppy's idea first, but you can't patent an idea and I know they would love to see people from around the world making up their own dances to crazy cat movements.
I hope their video inspires you.
There are my two little crazies and I love them to bits.
I managed to find the original video they watched:
