"Toilet Selfies" new trend in social media... ( will steemians join...

According to Wikipedia, a selfie is a self portrait photograph, typically taken with a camera phone held in the hand or supported by a selfie stick. often, selfies are shared on social networking sites like instagram, twitter ,facebook and also our very own Steemit.

Usually selfies refers to self portrait photos taken with the camera held at arms length or pointed at mirror as opposed to those taken by using a self timer or remote. To position the camera farther away from the subject, a selfie stick can be used allowing the camera to see more around them.

Are selfies good for you?

Many steemians in their blog have posted about selfies... As cited in Hive account@transhuman post "Computer scientists at the University of California, Irvine have shown that taking selfies can make you happy!" However,based on statistics, women on average take more selfies than males...but this situation reverses after 40.

Interestingly, as reported by College times in May 27, 2014, in USA Toilet selfies were the latest thing to take over the internet.

However, the trend became popular in Africa after Wizkid ( A Nigerian born singer) took a toilet selfie for a Magazine shot, where he held a toilet tissue made of dollars...

Afterwards, so many Africans especially girls have followed suite, taking selfies in toilet at different locations!..

Here in Steemit, selfies are also trendy among ladies and most men but how trendy is toilet selfies among steemians? Its well known that many steemians are generously helping minmows/ new members grow through many innovative contests , I am looking forward to a day soon when a Steemian will offer 500steem for the best toilet selfie photo in photo contest...
