I was able to find out about ttt series all thanks to @mypathtofire/ecency-christmas-challenge-week-1
Today, I've got three incredible songs lined up for you to enjoy and groove to.
All The Stars - Kendrick Lamar, SZA
Genre: pop rap
Spotify link: All The Stars - Kendrick Lamar(with SZA)
All the stars was released on January 4th, 2018. It is the lead song to the sound track on the Black Panther album.
I like this particular one cause it reminds me of Black panther. Kendrick's verses talk about different themes like power and self worth. SZA's verses brings a very beautiful melodic contrast and a bit of emotional touch too.
They both create a blend of Rap and Blues(I think) to make the song feel personal and cinematic. I'll give it a rating of 7.5/10.
Oscar Winning Tears - RAYE
Genre: pop, r&b
Spotify link: Oscar Winning Tears - RAYE
Oscar Winning Tears was released on the 8th of November 2024. It is the second song on "My 21st Century Blues" album.
I've always been a fan of Raye and I love the way she blends R&B and Pop in her songs. The song builds intensity throughout, emphasising on the emotional weight of the lyrics. It reflects emotional struggle while aligning with storytelling. I'll give it a rating of 9/10.
The Night We Met - Lord Huron
Genre: Indie rock
Spotify link: The Night We Met - Lord Huron
The Night We Met was released on the 7th of April 2015.
