Hello everyone, without much ado I would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the Almighty God for seeing us through this program successfully, furthermore we would like to thank our wonderful medical team of 
Things went out smoothly and gracefully according to plan, after submission of letters, we were approved allowed to come in to conduct the eye screening exercise, then it was left with ophthalmic instruments hiring for the programs, with help of our wonderful team member we were able to secure some, two trial case set, five ophthalmoscopes and two retinoscopes, we arranged for a transportation to our destination and also managed to secure some drinks to refresh the team after a days work. Instruments used were rented at a cost of 300 Cedis, an equivalent of 63 dollars, Transportation for the team to and from the school cost 200 cedis and equivalent of 42 dollars and 100 Ghana Cedis that is 20 dollars was used in preparing refreshment for the team. It all amounted to price of 600 Ghana cedis, 125 US dollars which is equivalent to 127.98 Steem.
A lot of refractive errors were discovered and corrected, the majority of which was hyperopia, which comes with symptoms of headaches after reading for some time, some of these students had no idea of what the problem could be and sadly had not made it a priority to seek medical attention too. Aside the students who were the priority we also had the chance to screen some of the tutors around and have an educational time with them. Only one Glaucoma case was discovered and it was referred for intensive care.

To reduce or prevent vision loss through diseases such as glaucoma, cataract and refractive errors.
To enlighten the majority of the Ghanaian population about the importance of proper visual care.
To conscientize people on the need for regular eye checks
To get more people to have their wards screened within the Critical periods of a Child’s Vision Development; thus from ages 3 to till about 10 years.
To help the blind and people with low vision live a better life within the society through education of the general public to stop stigmatization.
