Recently I've become a part of Project Giving, which is Steemit's first NGO. I highly recommend that you check out & follow their page Hive account@projectgiving. It's one of the most inspiring things I've connected with on the Steem blockchain.

Like Raj, we're also inspired to use vegetables to convey our interpretation of Fundition's heart logo!

Without further ado, here is our entry into this month's Hive account@funditian contest:

We made the heart out of potatoes we dug from our garden and clipped zinnia flowers :) It's been a busy summer for us on the homestead and we have a lot of vegetables we're eating daily. This seemed appropriate!!

@Fundition is a next-generation, decentralized, peer-to-peer crowdfunding and collaboration platform on the Steem blockchain!

Tomorrow we will be sharing another episode of our Permaculture Hour on the Global Homesteading Collective's (GHSC) Discord. Last week we had our intro show and this week, we're starting with the first out of 12 Permaculture Principles.

This is one of my favorite principles and really, in my opinion, one of the most important.

After the episode airs on the GHSC Discord (click here to join), I will also be sharing this initiative as a part of Project Giving which seeks to educate and support sustainability efforts the world round. We Hive account@mountainjewel are so excited to be a part of this initiative, which we got connected to through the #sndboxsummercamp. We're not only thankful for all of those at Hive account@projectgiving who have been developing and supporting this idea for some time, but also for Hive account@sndbox for encouraging us all to use our time on the Steem blockchain for something bigger than ourselves.

Hive account@fundition is also up to supporting inspiring initiatives that help make the world a better place and Hive account@projectgiving has also had its initiatives supported through the #fundition efforts. It reinforces the belief that when we come together we can do great things!
