Actually this happened long ago, when I was there not studying. It's not every month we conducted coastal clean up in our Brgy. This time the council decided to clean up our marine park fish sanctuary. We are not being forced to join but because it concerns our Brgy. every household represent one person each. The cleaning was fun, lot of conversation while cleaning.

The shore were full of seaweeds and leaves of pagatpat and mangrooves. Women brought broomstick while men brought shovel and bolo. We cleaned the whole shore that reaches the sanctuary. By the way there no money involve in this, it is completely voluntary.

When the wastes were already cleaned, we made a hole and burried it there. Burning it was prohibited that's why we decided to burned it instead of throwing in the sea. Yes, it's done and the snacks were ready. There were foods serve, but only a breads and softdrinks.
We unite to make our brgy. a beautiful place and for the visitors to appreciate it.
