In January when I went mushroom hunting hoping to find just a few I was pleasant surprised by the amount of those growing around!
On the paths, under the trees, among grasses and wildflowers.... I could say there was hundreds of them in the park. Of course I didn't photograph them all (don't believe that, I shot almost every mushroom I saw), but every time I saw one standing like that with the delicate hat not completely flipped I had to take some shots.

The dark gills on the very thin, see-though hat look almost like some very fancy fabric. Only for the special clothing. For fairies!
I don't think they would be edible. And seem very common, very short lived and very delicate.
Beautiful mushrooms!

I hope many of you will join as there are only 2 simple rules:
- when Friday comes post your own, original photo/drawing/art/food/anything-at-all of any type of fungi (yes, I will check and report stolen images!)
- add #FungiFriday tag (it doesn't have to be your first tag)
That's all :)
