It all started when I noticed my Android populating a curious reply to a list containing another cleaning product and it got me thinking....
What if I can cause SmartReply to do the same thing for a list containing Tide pods for a /r/me_irl meme?
For those not in the know about me_irl, it means "Me, in real life" and is used for memes that people use to describe situations that they can relate to personally. If you see a meme and can think to yourself, "That's totally me.", or "I do that. Haha", then you can say that is me_irl.
Not, not me. We're talking about you here.
You get it, right???
Here's the meme. For the love of God, don't eat laundry pods.
Sometimes, people post things there that seem to express an kind of an apathetic or welcoming attitude towards their own death. Almost this kind of this put me out of my misery theme that the sub tends to gravitate towards. To help you know what I mean, here is one.
The humor is a bit... dark, I think sometimes they take something something heavy ("the pain and disappointments of life") and juxtaposing it with something light ("funny memes / poking fun at one's self"). Also, likely some things we can read from the sub text of these things being popular.
Mine doesn't exactly fit that template but think it was pretty decent for the shits and giggles for our possibly disturbed artificial intelligence.
I mean. Look at these autocomplete results?
Google, are you OK???
