Hi Everyone welcome to TRUTH OR DARE. It's a question sometimes it can be hard to tell if your being understood. I've learned that it depends where you are specially if you are traveling. Here in Montreal a pretty international city with respect to so many different nationalities and cultures you find here a common denominator. People speak mostly french but there is a huge bilingual presence which dominates most of what goes on. The fact that they exist together in harmony is a delicate balance between what is possible and what is acceptable linguistically, i mean how can you even imagine being in a open and free society to be who you are, when someone dictates in what language to speak and how to behave, anyways what it means to me is this you have to speak French to the French and English to the English then Latin to the Italians, Spanish ... or just be bilingual i think we may still have a way to go socially .
