Howdy folks I just wanted to drop by and share a few photos with ya"ll.
I get a kick out of these from time to time. I've had them archived on
my computer and have added to them for years so I don't know their
source, if they have one.
Most of them are basically Redneck car fixes, the photos taken in
Walmart parking lots mostly. Now I'm not making fun of Rednecks
nor putting them down, heck I AM one.
But if you know any then you know that we make fun of each other
all the dang time, it's a favor-rite past time for us so don't be
accusing me of being discriminatory(boy thats a big word for a
redneck) or putting down a group of people.
As these photos prove.. rednecks can repair anything. Just give
them some plywood and duct tape! On the farm there were many
a day when I thanked God for whoever invented duct tape and
bailin wire...for a #temporary fix of course.
Not only can these guys fix anything, they help me tone up my
abs from laughing so hard. Not so for my wife who sees no humor
in these photos.
She's a city girl but is that the issue or is it a female thing?
Her city environment or being a female?
Anyone who has worked on cars can appreciate these here
"fixes" so maybe that is it. Maybe you had to have worked on
cars before.
Let me know what you think. If these are funny to ya then
maybe I'm not as strange as she thinks.
that repair there is a thing of beauty, look at the customization.
thisun here is such a solid replacement for an obviously weak factory
lock. and I'm glad to see that they have an alarm system. don't want
nobody pickin your padlock.
this is almost artwork here, look at how they maintain the original
contour of the car.
another example of skilled craftsmanship.. look at that fit!
excellent use of plywood, and those classic hinges? oh man.
talk about ingenuity!.you don't need no donut tire when you get a flat!
thisun here would be my favor-rite one. you cain't git no more creative
than that!
I got more but only if ya'll got a good guffah out of these.
Let me know.
Have a blessed weekend!
