Something To Smile About

I have been trying to write this post since this morning, but I so tired I can hardly keep a thought straight.

I should definitely get off discord and go to bed at a reasonable hour, because a few late nights eventually catches up pretty fast. That was an example of me being honest by telling the truth, again only I know this to be true, but upon further investigation you will be able to see how often I had interactions on discord, that would then be called evidence. This evidence also need to be verifiable, otherwise it will be nothing more than your word or opinion. Why can't we just take everyone's word, well because there are other people who lie. So in order to discover the truth there needs to be evidence to support it, making it true.

A statement that is true, is for example that water is wet, we can all go to the tap right now and confirm this to be true. Things that are not true, could be something like Russia hacking the American election, you're probably thinking "oh my gosh Mork, how could you say that?". Well because there is no evidence to support this claim, the truth can not be verified in this situation. The security company who investigated the hacked DNC servers, gave the authorities a report saying they had verified the evidence and it was undoubtedly Russia. So do we believe the word of a party that has allegiances to their client, or a company who has allegiances to the truth? Obviously someone is lying here, so the only logical step forward would be to allow the authorities to then verify the truth. The funny thing it that the DNC did not hand over their servers to the authorities, they refused.

If truth is unverifiable, the correct and honest way forward would be to acknowledge this. When this unverifiable truth is then called the complete and utter truth, and even questioning this narrative is met with hostility, it is then undoubtedly clear who is lying, Occam's razor. The end goal it seems is not truth in this situation but political power, and influence over the masses.
