Mabye in a standard centralized model... but it is the bloated infrastructure which requires high costs, and wastes, etc...
What you see as ideal is actually quite practical and doable with little money and even less manpower....
This is not a "piecemeal" solution my friend, it requires true community bonding, that is why intentional communities are formed... We just need to get them integrated into the blockchain, and smart contracts, etc...
The rest will take care of itself.... Like i said, if it is important people will pay for it or provide it somehow....
Been proving and living that example for close to three years now with somebody who created a paradise free of statist needs, or control....
Government is a farce, and will always be more expensive, more difficult, and more logistically clusterf*cked than a private community based solution.
