I'm pretty sure most of us can hold our breaths for longer than three seconds- that's three seconds without taking in any oxygen, so would anything really happen if the world lost its oxygen for 3 seconds? Surely we can last. Right?
Wrong.
This is what would happen if the world lost oxygen for 3 seconds
Everyone would get sunburns. Immediately. Sunburns, not gorgeous glowy tans. Not even SPF 6588686 can save you there.
The earths crust would crumble. Crumble like an Oreo dipped in milk too long. So sad.
Oxygen makes up about 45% of the earths crust, hence why it would crumble with a mere 3 seconds of disappearance.
Every living cell would explode of hydrogen gas. In case you didn't know, a hydrogen bomb is is 1000 times more powerful than an atomic bomb.
Three hydrogen bombs could destroy the entire world. Including this cute puppy.
The world would get dark, very dark. Night time would be every time.
Less molecules in the air means less molecules for light to be bounced off of. Well, at least you could sleep in longer. Meh, who am I kidding, offices will still find a way to make workers go. Your chance to ask for a raise?
Basically, everything would go wrong. So oxygen, thank you for not bailing on us.
