Proverbs are such a strange thing - every language has their own sayings, and when you try to translate them or understand the meaning literally, they don't make sense at all!
I could name so many examples from german which don't make ANY sense in english...
Yesterday I stumbled upon James Chapman, a graphic designer that does fun illustrations.
And he has done a series of illustrating proverbs from around the world!
I think that was a really awesome idea, and some of these are so funny!
