The next time anybody tells me to “Go for it”, “go follow your dreams” or tells me to “never give up”, I am going to knock them out with my punch.
Recently I have been hearing a whole lot of motivational quotes speeches or sayings; everybody has become a motivational speaker now a days.
First of all let me explain there is nothing wrong with all these quotes, but listening to those quotes won’t make you believe in them or follow them and the real fact is that even if you are not following them you are still passionate, you still love yourself. In fact what these motivational quotes do is make you hate yourself. Don't they?
Have you ever noticed how every one of those motivational speakers, writers or preachers, have that tone in them like "I am superior then you because I follow this", Have you ever noticed that?
These people think that all we need in our life is a motto and all the problems in our life are going to disappear if we follow it. Is that really easy?
You must have been told by them that you don't have passion, you don't have courage you don't have this you don't have that and why you are not successful, Next time I will punch them In the face and will say "Thank you for telling me what I already know".
I can't blame all of them; because I am the reason they are telling me that, I am letting them try to motivate me.
We all have seen that article titled, ‘How to lose weight in 5 days’, ‘How to get rich with this successful trick’, ‘Do this and women will love you’. And we all must have clicked on them thinking hey, finally there is that thing that was missing from my life and now I will be able to achieve it. Isn’t it?
But 100 pages later, did you achieve anything or did you pity yourself more in how wrong you have been all your life?
Why am I letting somebody else motivate me or tell me what to do when I am perfectly capable of thinking that and tell it to myself?
Well I have said enough, I don't mean to sound like a motivational speaker, I don't want you to think I am motivating you in anyway, I don't want any of you to punch me in the face.
