That’s correct, a nasty looking patch of skin-burned to the second degree. I wouldn’t call this a “stunt” nor was the comedic part of this sketch supposed to be getting hurt. I’m not above a jackass type- stupid stunt if it’s worth the laughs, although this was supposed to be a bit more mature type of comedy. For the video itself, the skit depicts me waking up late for class, without any time to properly get ready. As a result, I attempted to drink coffee out of my Keurig like a faucet or water fountain. I seriously underestimated the heat of that shit-plus I was too drunk and high to really notice.
Unfortunately, we often indulge while making art. During this video, I was feeling nice mentally-but not much else. Numb and dumb: I didn’t even feel the scorching hot water..I didn’t even realize I had burned myself until the next morning when I awoke to a throbbing red patch-one big bulbous blister in the center. Web MD, along with some other browsing around quickly confirmed the extent of my burn. I was going to add a picture of the burn also, but it is quite gross to look at.
