As for uploading your consciousness, I've read about tests being done with some success already 2 or 3 years back, so i'm too quite sure this will happen in the coming years.
Also, one prediction i agree with is Ray Kurzweil's "teleport". Humans will learn to decompose their whole body into molecules that are then beamed with some sort of laser, thus expanding traveling into space :-)
