So I have to add some pointers with fun in this posting, so bear with me.
I've noticed everyone seems to do a "hello post"/"intro post"/"catching up post" and within my communities system we call this a header post and that includes this post!
LoL shock face LoL
SocialGROW wants to show an example of early posts that are header posts but not "hello posts"! There's nothing wrong with them but maybe you posted a hello and received almost no traffic...that's where #socialGROW jumps up to the plate!

[[This is important even if you only have one but keep in mind this is just a title \down/ ]]
<[what are going to talk about:
Subject(s) or even #Tagsubject]>
[[If you have a long list of subjects or tags, then don't mention them all and don't just mention the first few. Mention the first, a middle one and the last one! Use ... if you want inbetween or just at the end]]
-----subject-----
<[now explain your subject(s) mentioned in title in a type of order and following your title]>
[[Inbetween subjects try adding in funny spots or mention (reversed of what's in your main content)]]
[[If at any time, you think your post is too long, end the post at the end of the current subject. Don't forget #tagsubject at the end if you don't have them mentioned yet. Continue your subjects in a new post but at the top of that post explain you needed to split the post up. Try using the same subject with "(cont)".]]
