I stumbled upon this during my browsing this morning and I just had so many ideas flow through my brain.. Besides, who doesn't love a good Maya Angelou quote?

Oh the coveted idea of doing what you love!! Oh how we talk about it so often!!
It's seems to be heavily talked about - people saying "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life." Yet, you still see the same people working some shitty job that they don't love!!

Well, it's not that simple...
It's not as simple as you think to do what you love... or is it?
What I've come to learn about the world is that it actually is very simple to do what you love: all you have to do is do it. If you love blogging about food, then just make thousands upon thousands of food blogs that display your creativity and curiosity about the space.
If you love to take videos of dogs, then create the best damn dog videos the world has ever seen and put them out there!
The complicated part of doing what you love comes after the part where you actually do what you love: this is the money part..
What I'm getting at here is that everyone.. yes, EVERYONE has the ability to do what they love... Not everyone is good enough however, to make a living doing that thing.
Thus, if you want to both do what you love AND get paid for it, you have to put an immense amount of work in. You have to invest an immense amount of brain power, love, attention and creativity into what you love doing.
To be paid for what you love, you just have to be so good at doing it, that people simply cannot forgo paying attention to you!!
