Hola hola on this beautiful Saturday! I'm having another carb phase and I decided to kick off this phase with a huge turkey sandwich from one of my favorite local sub shops!
Sandwiches are super underrated in my opinion. I could eat these things all damn day!!
When I'm on this carb cycling diet, I tend to eat a ton of sandwiches because they are just so simple and so ridiculously delicious!!!
As you may have noticed, I've been doing more frequent carb cycles.
The main reason for this is for added performance in the weight room.
Eating more carbs will result in more glycogen being stored in your muscles and if you cycle properly, you can be in ketosis 90% of the time and then also have the added benefits of storing extra glycogen in that other 10% window.

Pro tip for making sandwiches 100x better:
Add hot peppers (I like Giardinara or Hot Sports Peppers) to the sandwich... It's a game-changer to say the least!!!
